AIESEC Iasi starts Spring Recruitment!
Spring is on and so is the Exchange program, which from now on is re-branded as the “Global Internship Program”! If you are looking for a good opportunity to build your future and bring your share of change, here’s a tip on how to start: choose to become an AIESEC member! What will that offer you? An internship abroad, on your work field and further leadership opportunities.
- Management,
- Technical(IT) and
- Education.
And to get even closer to you, AIESEC Iasi has prepared something special: the Youth Development Event, based on free training sessions for students. It will take place on 19th of March, in building B of UAIC, starting with 10 o’clock. There, you will have the perfect shot to interact with well-known proffesionals in the local environment, to find out more about the opportunities offered by AIESEC and to socialize with other students having the same interests as you.
One of the most important “projects” from AIESEC is the Global Internship Program. I am sending you this message from Belgium/Brussels, after having been in another internship in Germany. Working in a multinational company, meeting people from over 15 countries, having friends from so many countries changed my life. I learned to have a global mindset and to believe that the world is smaller, near these people.”

Zorica`s Exchange story
Once upon a time … I was a student…Actually it was 8 months ago and I was an active AIESEC member. Knowing that every single moment in AIESEC is something new and challenging I decided that it is time for the most exciting AIESEC opportunity – the Exchange opportunity. I wanted to go to a country that likes to do the things professional, country with a big tradition, culture and history. I was thinking for a while which is the country that is not far away from Macedonia and I haven’t heard on TV that something bad is happening there. That’s how I end up with Romania. I did a research of all Exchange opportunities AIESEC Romania has and I saw GROW. I liked the project because when I was 12th grade I really wanted someone to help me to decide what I want to do with my life and I thought that now being older and having a little bit more experience will help the 12th graders in Romania.
First weekend of Induction trainings is over!
After getting to know each other, our lovely new members found out the AIESEC History and relevance, the AIESEC Way, Structure&Projects. They also learned how to become Social Responsible, discover themselves and what Entrepreneurial outlook really means.
How do they feel after a 2 days training marathon? “Great. Even though there was a lot of information, it wasn`t difficult to understand” said Paula Clapon. Mihai Plesca felt “awesome, because it made me feel part of something, a team and it gave me courage to speak and to make friends.”
Yesterday we assigned the mini-projects, all of them based on Exchange and guess what? The members are enthusiastic and ready to work!
Stay tuned for more! There`s another weekend of Induction training coming up.

AIESECer for an evening
On Wednesday we had the pleasure to meet those of you who were curious about AIESEC and what it can really do for you. We got together in a small, cozy place called Franz Caffe , starting 20:00 o`clock.
Feels good knowing there are students that want to share their curiosities, to learn new things and to develop themselves. And beyond all these things, wanting to make a CHANGE. Read the rest of this entry »
